Tobias Harris is optimistic that the Philadelphia 76ers will be able to get over the hump this season following failures from the past.

The veteran forward told Ky Carlin of USA Today the importance of health, and chemistry defense as they target the NBA title come postseason time.

“Obviously, we need to be healthy. We need everybody to just buy in and understand that for us to be at our best, we have to really have great chemistry, right? We have to be able to have that basketball moving around, to have guys stepping up and being comfortable and be in a rhythm. We got to defend our tails off. So all those things add up to contribute to winning.”

Upon Joel Embiid’s placement as the franchise cornerstone from “The Process” rebuilding era, the Sixers have taken various measures in hopes of winning a title since 2018.. Despite acquiring Jimmy Butler in 2018-2019 and the addition of James Harden last season, they are still yet to reach the summit of the NBA.

This season may rub them the most intense pressure of hunting for that elusive championship, but Philadelphia is certainly eager to prove doubters wrong and be the best team once and for all.
