Kings officially extend ties with undrafted pick-up after first short deal

The Sacramento Kings have inked swingman PJ Dozier to another 10-day deal, the team formally announced on Thursday. The terms of the deal weren’t publicized.

Dozier was initially tapped by the Kings for a 10-day deal last Jan. 9, wherein he proceeded to play three games for the club – all during garbage time.

Prior to his joining Sacramento, Dozier played for G League’s Iowa Wolves, wherein he averaged 18.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.

Upon his league entry in 2017, the undrafted Dozier previously played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, and the Denver Nuggets. He has a career average of 6.2 points, 3.0 boards, and 1.8 assists in 108 total games played.
