In a pre-game speech, the foundation of the Sixers franchise expressed his gratitude to the fans for their overwhelming faith, and then requested to support Ben Simmons who is now currently inactive in the lineup.

Recently, it was announced that Simmons had meaningful conversations with Embiid, head coach Doc Rivers and the entire Philly team. The three-time All-star said that “he’s not mentally ready” yet to suit up.

Teammate Tobias Harris then expressed his full support for the resting Simmons, saying that they will accept the point forward with love when the right time to play comes.

Coming from his Philadelphia brothers, a heartwarming support is flowing for Simmons — a clear sign of mending of the fences that were raised from the previous months.

The Sixers are now battling Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets for their opener.
