After 14 seasons of a fruitful NBA journey, high flying swingman Gerald Green will now hang his jersey.

His hometown team Houston Rockets announced the news via Twitter, further adding that the 35-year-old will now join Stephen Silas’ coaching hub in a player development role.

Representing eight different teams in his career, his 2007 Slam Dunk trophy is a solid testament of his unreal verticality — gliding through the rim with spectacular dunks and highlight reel finishes. He then transformed into a reliable shooter as he progressed in his time with the league.

Closing the book of his professional basketball life, he managed to register an average of 9.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 41 percent shooting from the area.
