Tobias Harris assured fans that the Sixers’ locker room will give Ben Simmons the space and privacy he needs to regain his mental health.

The Sixers welcomed Simmons back last week, after the three-time All-Star demanded a trade and did not join the team’s training camp.
Daryl Morey claimed he will trade the Australian superstar for the right compensation. That, however, was after the club suspended Simmons for Wednesday’s regular-season opener after the 25-year-old didn’t take part in a drill during practice.
Afterwards, the 76ers ruled Simmons out indefinitely, as the three-time All-Star did not participate in a scheduled individual workout Thursday.
Philadelphia defeated New Orleans 117-97 Wednesday and will host the Brooklyn Nets for its home opener on Friday night.
