Kevin Pangos joining Cleveland Cavaliers on a two-year deal, per report

EuroLeague star Kevin Pangos will move to the NBA, after agreeing terms with the Cleveland Cavaliers for two seasons, per ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

Pangos had a breakout year with Zenit St. Petersburg last season, averaging 13.5 points and 6.6 assists in just under 29 minutes per game in the EuroLeague. He also posted 12.5 points per game in the VTB United League.

The swift guard became the first Canadian to be named to the All-EuroLeague first team. Zenit was his fourth stop in Europe for the former Gonzaga guard after FC Barcelona, Zalgiris, and Gran Canaria.

Pangos is also a member of the Canadian national team. He participated in the 2019 FIBA World Cup of Basketball having a crucial role for his team.
