After many years of playing against LeBron James, Andre Drummond became his teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers. The 27-year-old center played two games together with James so far.
Drummond was asked about his experience of playing alongside LeBron ahead of the game against the Clippers. “The time that we’ve had LeBron just being on the same side as him compared to preparing to play against him was huge because he demands a lot of attention,” he said.
“And I didn’t realize how much attention he draws until being on the same court as him. When we prepare for him we’re gonna do this, try to make him frustrated and play in a certain way to get him out of his game.
But to witness how other people prepare for him it’s crazy because the whole floor is open because everybody’s just staring at him the entire time.”
