Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul tapped Pietro Aradori to fill a need in its backcourt. Aradori (1.94 meters, 25 years old) heads to play outside of Italy for the first time. He spent the past two seasons with Pallacanestro Cantu, for whom he averaged 13.8 points on 40% three-point shooting plus 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 15 Eurocup games last season and 15 points on 56.5% three-point shooting plus 4 rebounds in eight Turkish Airlines Euroleague contests the season before. Aradori, who made his Euroleague debut as a teenager for Olimpia Milano in 2007, has played a total of 50 Euroleague games for three teams over four seasons. He also played for Assigeco Casalpusterlengo, AC Imola, Virtus Roma and Biella early in his career. Aradori joined Montepaschi Siena in 2010 and spent two seasons there, during which he reached the 2011 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in Barcelona and helped the club to back-to-back Italian League and Cup doubles. He has also been a regular with the Italian national team.
