I think it's false rumours. And even there was the slightest interest in Woods, it will fade away once Zalgiris ends the first round of Top 16 with 0-3 record because there will be no point in bringing one more player, especially foreigner.
I saw comments of Greek fans after yesterday's game against Olympiacos. Even they were surprised to see 12 players playing for Zalgiris in the first quarter. The rest has been said in my and other members' posts above.
Sportalas.com quoted Greek media which said that Sabonis told to Romanov during the game: "My biggest mistake was that I handed the team to you". Romanov wasn't sitting next to Sabas in the second half and Zouros either was actually allowed to make his own decisions or he decided not to obey Romanov's orders and we saw a different game in the second half.
I always complained about Zalgiris not getting a good coach for a decade. Now they did but he's not allowed to coach. It's so annoying to see a good team and a good coach playing terribly because of one man's "wooden head" (that's Romanov's expression btw.).
Now when the hopes of advancing to the next round have nearly vanished maybe Zouros will be allowed to do his job at least in Euroleague.
It was fun to hear the crowd boo Collins when he was sent to the court and everyone clapped when he was sent to the bench. Finally the fans lost their patience and clearly showed that.
Here's hope that better times are coming.

You're right Vilius. Collins did nothing and he hasn't played many good games for Zalgiris since he returned to the club.
I find it very good that Sabas said this to Romanov. Romanov may have a lot of money but he destroys the club by his decision. He doesn't have the know how about basketball and he see Zalgiris as his personal toy( it's the same as his football club Hearts).
Zalgiris has a good team and they have a good coach in Zouros. I hope that Zouros can do his job from now on and let Zalgiris play the basketball that he has in mind, he needs the be in charge of the players and not Romanov. If Zouros is in charge of the players, Zalgiris will win more games than that they now do. The qualification for the next round is far away but I'm very sure that Zouros can let Zalgiris win some games in the Top 16
Hopefully Romanov will stop interfering with Zouros his job
