Lietuvos Rytas 2010/2011

From which planet did you came? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Unsure' /> Performance in Euroleague was result of Jasikevičius, El-Amin and enormous motivation for all the rest. I saw that Trifunovič did good work only in two Euroleague games, others are...just...how to say it nice...spectacular? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> C'mon, you must be joking...even Bertans said in interview that it wasn't really hard to play defense against Lietuvos Rytas because they always play the same...make conclusions on your own...and..what does point guard's problem has to do with not making open shots and playing shitty defense?

Man, i dont't joke. Stupid to say, that Jasikevičius and EL-Amin themselves win games. It was all team merit, including Trifunovičius. This coach motivated team very good, and a few games he built very aggressive, good defense. Trifunovič is demanding, strong coach. And Maskoliūnas is soft, you know.. When he coached "Žalgiris", his result was very poor.. And work with "Aisčiai" not modified his reputation. In my opinion, Trifunovič is better than Maskoliunas.

Yes, he fucked up one time, but Maskoliunas do the same in LKL finals...

I'm not saying that Jasikevičius and El-Amin themselves won but they were the KEY to success, not Trifunovič. Trif did good job only in few games (including one against Panathinaikos in Athens where substitutions were good and really in time)..who motivate who? I don't think players needed someone to motivate them to play EUROLEAGUE games. The most of players just signed Lietuvos Rytas only to play in Euroleague because their dreamed of that and that was great opportunity to set their price in market...what do you think, won't any richer team want Bjelica or Gecevičius?

And Trifunovič don't get along with players after he started blaming them in media (rumors spread about having bad relationships with players after that) ..Maskoliūnas can't be worse because Trifunovič was the worst...C'mon, they even didn't show anything new...have you read interview with Dairis Bertans? He said that VEF played good defense because Rytas didn't show anything new, only same game they played all season long, that's why they won.

Trifunovic was doing almost great in this season. But like in Serbia when favorite team lose in play-offs than coach is first under fire. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/agree.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Agree' />

We can say that we, Rytas fans, followed every step of him and he wasn't doing anything good. What comes to mind the most, Trifunovič always use foreign players more and don't give a f*ck about Lithuanians because he want to show good results and get better contract elsewhere and he does that no matter how foreigners suck and even don't care about that.

It seems like Dzikic will be next coach of Lietuvos Rytas. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

As I investigated his career he is damn good coach and KRKA this year shows very good results. Watched one game (EuroChallenge final) and I was surprised what he did that those player could have played like that.

P.s. we should create new topic. I'll do that.
