Yes, but according to some people I am lying and making up and imagining that Olympiacos is offering a huge contract to Spanoulis. I'm really getting sick of these people calling me a liar for simply stating inside info. The TRUTH is that Spanoulis had the offer on his desk from Olympiacos in January.

PG Spanoulis

SG Teodosic

SF Fernandez

PF Kleiza

C Bourousis

Ivkovic at coach

They might actually be able to win finally.

i thought rako would go there too, but he said in his twitter account "No voy a jugar en Bilbao" (not gonna play in bilbao). Seems he's just planning to live there at some point.

[/quote]

OK that makes sense. I was surprised that he would sign with a team that does not play in the Euroleague.

Real Madrid has made an offer for Nikola Pekovic

Nikola Pekovic has to decide his future this summer. The 24-year-old Montenegrin center, who has played for Panathinaikos during the last two season, could stay on the Greek team or leave to the NBA and play for the Minnesota Timberwolves. But, according to the Serbian media, Real Madrid is also interested in landing the former player of Partizan, and has already make an offer to sign Pekovic for the next season.

Even only if 5% of all those rumours about Real are correct, It looks like that Messina wants 30 players in his squad.

This is pure bullshit by his agent, Raznatovic.

Panathinaikos got the option on Pekovic for next season for 1.7m euros. He is only free to go to NBA.
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Svetislav Pesic also in the sights of Olybiakos for next season:

The latest rumour- Lithuanian T. Pačėsas (Prokom) is candidate for the head coach of Oly.

I'd love Pačėsas to coach Oly but it won't happen in my opinion because Aggelopoulos brothers will want to bring a big name probably to please the fans. And Pačėsas, despite his success during the last two years, isn't the most famous coach yet.

Yeah, that would be strange to say the least <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> On other hand, Pačėsas is young and he had a great result with Prokom which is something like a little bit weaker Olympiacos, they are playing pretty much similar BB (they might got impression in these Euroleague simifinals). They still surely remember Kazlauskas, so that might be pretty reasonable, specially if they finally want to take a risk - not to spent millions for the name, but to take some reasonable research for the talent; Pačėsas wouldn't be worse than Giannakis IMO.
Unicaja Malaga interested in Kosta Perovic, Thomas Kelati and Carlos Cabezas

Yeah, but the Aggelopoulos brothers are obscenely rich. Literally, MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE. No joke, these were the guys that were going to offer Kobe last year €30 million a year, TAX FREE, a luxurious house, and his own US chef that would cook him all his favourite US meals!!! That kinda money was a hell of a lot more than what Kobe would be getting in LA, after the heavy taxes, that's for sure <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Back on topic though, I doubt Oly would go for a well-performing young buck, only the best and biggest names usually are in their sights. Only someone like say, Xavi Pascual who proved himself this season would perhaps have a chance on the red bench.

Spanoulis to Olympiacos close according to this:

http://www.metrosport.gr/klini-spanouli-o-olimpiakos

According to this, Ioannis Bourousis is wanted by Panathinaikos and Spanoulis is close to signing with Olympiacos:

http://www.krepsinis.net/graikijos-spaud...43464.html

Spanoulis supposedly re-signed with Panathinaikos for 2 years. No news yet on the amount. They say he turned down offers from Olympiacos, Real Madrid and several NBA teams.
