I didn't, just wrote what did I think.

True, Bartzokas has done a great job, but so far throwing a relatively Euroleague-inexperienced coach especially for the level that Oly wants and needs, so far no Greek coach has done a good enough job to run such a big team, such as Xavi Pascuale. THAT'S what I want to see.

[/quote]

But you have to take into consideration that not every young ass. coach is going to turn into Xavi Pascuale..it's about talent as well.

He probably said what he said about Maccabi because sports sites in Israel talk about him a lot(as well as Burstein and Eliyahu)as a candidate for Maccabi next year,I'd rather that he wouldn't come back so I'm hoping that what you're saying about the offers from Europe is true
I don't think Bartzokas is ready to deal with so many stars. I believe that all these young coaches such as Angelou, Bartzokas and mainly Sfairopoulos, should show their skills for 2-3 years in the top level before they can coach teams like Oly. Pascual and Pianigianni are exceptions. And lucky. Giannakis is mediocre. I think the best choise for Oly's bench is Pianigianni or Ivkovic. I 'll be personally disappointed if Angelopoulos hires Angelou, Bartzokas or Sfairopoulos. NO MORE EXPERIMENTS!!
Andrés Nocioni doesn't want to play again in the Sacramento Kings next season, and could be traded soon, with the Toronto Raptors as an option in case they agree to swap him in exchange of Hedo Turkoglu. Another option for the 30-year-old Argentinian forward could be to play again in Spain. According to the player, Real Madrid and Caja Laboral are interested in him. Nocioni would prefer to go back to his former team: Caja Laboral.

I doubt it,I think he'll follow Sergio Rodriguez and get a nice salary in Spain
Rudy Fernandez wanted by Real Madrid, Caja Laboral, Barcelona and Olympiacos.

I can't see Halprein return to Israel, due to a tax rules. Vujcic is very intersting question his future.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if he has any more fuel left in his reservoir <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Of course, but my point is that things have to be mixed up some more... In Greece there's so much talent, but it's only those with the right connections that float to the surface. If you haven't got those connections, forget it <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Mellow' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Huh' />

Oh man,it's like your talking about Israel, you need to be friends with the managements with the sports media, you have to be BFF with everyone and then not only would you get job offers but people would say such nice things about you no matter if you'll fail or not,and that happens a lot in Israel because some coaches use as commentator for Israeli sports channels so no one would say anything bad about their colleagues.

you need connections,if you don't have any,it doesn't matter how good you are.

Bartzokas is the brains behind Maroussi all those years. Giannakis was just the front man. Bartzokas is a lot more experienced than you think. When Maroussi was having success with Giannakis the actual real coach of the team was Bartzokas.

I doubt you guys could rival the general level of corruption here... We have some of the biggest numbers of laws, and the least enforcement of them <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Interesting I was never aware of this. So to get this straight Bartzokas was Yannakis's assistant coach in Maroussi?

But then again that way we would have to hand the commandeering of the Greek NT to Lefteris Kakioussis, Yannakis's assistant? Man Yannakis is talented at finding talented assistant coaches <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />
