I can agree with this decicion. Looks decent enough.
Hapoel Jerusalem signed Rashon Clark (1.98, 24) and agreed terms with Chris Burgess (29, 2.09).
Gianluca Basile stays at Barcelona after signing 2-year contract.
Jason Williams will not come to Maccabi.

Carlos Arroyo in the main candidate.

He'll have a chance to learn more about players in Europe. Before the game vs. Croatia in Olympic Qualifying Tournament he was asked what does he know about Croatian players and he said "nothing".

It would be a good addition to Maccabi in my opinion.
Victor Sada signed in Barcelona.

Thanks for the info. Please keep us updated, Cardozo.

JWill agent said that maccabi already offered 3M $ for the player. Raanan Katz - Part owner of Maccabi and also part owner of Miami Heat said that they are very interested in him.

I don't think the question is if Maccabi wants JWill. I think it's the other way around. Not only Jason has never played for a European team. he has only been outside the united states once ! I am sure it's a very difficult decision for him.

I am very happy however, that Maccabi finally decided to bring a strong PG. they haven't had one since Sharas left to the NBA.

Indeed. There's no point in pretending to be someone that you are not if you want to post a rumour on the forum.
As an unusual step, Maccabi officialy denyed all the rumours about Boykins.

"It is an agent's spin. every player that need more money, use us as a lever. we never speak with him or his agents."
Carlos Arroyo signed 1 year contract with Maccabi. he has 2 years option and will get 2.5 M US$

Nice move by Maccabi. We'll see how useful he'll be for the team.

Finally, A real PG in Maccabi. I think that with Arroyo, Maccabi will be able to compete in the top levels. but again - why did they sign him for one season only ?

According to ESPN, the contract is for 3 seasons. but the player has an optuon to the NBA every summer, while Maccabi to renew the contract.
Fenerbahçe lost another player: Tarence Kinsey...
