Magic: I DON’T want to be the owner of the Clippers

Yesterday rumours spread over Magic Johnson’s reported interest in taking control of the Los Angeles Clippers. He tweeted in the early hours of Tuesday morning that he is not interested and that the Clippers already have an owner.

The former Los Angeles Lakers guard was the man caught in the middle of racist audio tape leaked by TMZ that featured Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

Milano’s Samardo Samuels got 14 parking fines in Milan

If you’re heading to Milan for the Euroleague Final Four by car, chances are you will be a better driver than EA7 Milano’s Samardo Samuels.

The player has racked up 14 parking fines while in the fashion capital, which is one of the club’s company vehicles. The total amount of the fines is €1.729,00 as the letter states.

His comment on Instagram: “Driving in Italy is horrible you talking about €1.729,00 on parking tickets in two months wtf!!”.

Euroleague Final Four game schedule announced

The re-match of the 2013 semi-final in London between Barcelona and Real Madrid will once again, be the late game of the semi-finals in Milan in two weeks.

Maccabi Electra vs CSKA Moscow will open proceeding on Friday May 16 at 18:00 CET, with el Clasico tipping off at 21:00 CET. The Final Four has been announced as sold out, but sources tell TalkBasket that the first game might have available seats due to the timing of the game.

Last year’s semi-final in London between CSKA Moscow and Olympiacos only attracted 9,218 fans due to the timing of the game as it was school term time.

DvO for the 2014 NBA Draft?

Laboral Kutxa and Great Britain youngster Devon van Oostrum has declared himself available for the 2014 NBA Draft in a recent interview with British basketball website, Hoopsfix.

Van Oostrum sees very little playing time at Vitoria and has only played in 10 games all season. While it has been challenging, the GB international, who impressed at Eurobasket in 2011 in Lithuania and last summer in Slovenia is happy with his individual workouts and believes that he is ready.

“I entered my name in the draft because I think it’s the right move for my career,” Van Oostrum said

“Whether I stay in the draft or not depends on how my summer goes and the feedback I get leading up to it,” he continued, having until June 18th to withdraw should he choose to.”
