Five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman supports the idea of the NBA keeping its current logo which includes Jerry West, despite being heartbroken over Kobe Bryant’s death.

Following Kobe’s death, many people, including prominent basketball figures, suggested the NBA should change its logo to include Kobe Bryant.

According to Rodman, the logo should stay as it is with his friend and mentor Jerry West on it, per TMZ Sports:

“He’s been a mentor of mine for a long, long time,” Rodman says … “[It should] stay the way it is.”

“I love you, Kobe,” Rodman said. “Rest in peace, baby. Love and respect, baby.”
