Lakers played their first pre-season game with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the roster. Magic Johnson, who watched the game, posted on Twitter that he believes LeBron will average close to a triple double this season.
Last season LeBron averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists for the Lakers. The King has never averaged a triple-double in a season.
The Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors 123-101 in their first pre-season game. LeBron played 18 minutes in which he scored 15 points and dished 8 assists.
Meanwhile the Lakers’ co-star Anthony Davis had 22 points and 10 rebounds.
