Siskauskas confirms he won’t play for Lithuania again

Ramunas SiskauskasEven though Kestuti Kemzura decided to include Ramunas Siskauskas to the list of the players that will be invited to play for Lithuania in FIBA World Championship 2010, the player made it clear that he is not coming back. Siska responded with a phrase ‘definitely not’ when asked by lrytas.lt whether he’ll be returning to the national team.

Siskausas said that it wasn’t an easy decision to retire from the national team. That was his final decision which will not be changed in the future. The last time that Siskauskas played for his country was back in Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Lithuania is hosting Eurobasket 2011 and because of that the goal is to assemble the strongest team possible. It seems that Ramunas Siskauskas will only be watching the games as a spectator.
