The show must go on for CSKA

CSKA MoscowCSKA Moscow forward, Ramunas Siskauskas is still disappointed, but admits the show must go on, in today’s 3rd / 4th place game against Partizan Belgrade.

CSKA were beaten in the semi-finals by Regal FC Barcelona, 64-54 – where Siskauskas led all scorers with 19 points. Shooting 40% from behind the arc.

“We have to play, no matter if it is the third place game.” commented Siskauskas.

“We have to play it and try to win, do what we have to do.” he continued

“It will be very difficult. We have to get ready and try to beat them. I didn’t expect Partizan to do this week in the beginning of the season, but after the New Year, they played really well.

They deserved to be here and showed it yesterday – they are one of the best teams in Europe.” said the Lithuanian.

Forward, Viktor Khryapa – presented as the winner of the Euroleague Best Defender Trophy, singled out Partizan rising star, Jan Vesely as a one to keep an eye on during the game.

“I don’t think I will match up against [Jan] Vesely for many minutes.” Khryapa stated.

“We will cross on the court and it is always good to play against a young guy who wants to prove his value.”

Earlier on today, French side, INSEP, claimed the Nike International Junior Tournament crown on the main court, as they beat FMP of Serbia, 83-73. Livio Jean-Charles grabbing MVP honours, for his performances throughout the tournament. He grabbed 15 points.
