Germany's young star, Per Gunther got injured in Germany's first friendly game against Slovenia and will sit out of Eurobasket.
The young Ulm player left the court in pain just one minute after he got in with a metatarsal injury, an injury which needs about two months of physiotherapy to be recovered.
Dirk Bauerman stated:
"This is obviously a bitter pill for Per and the team," Germany coach Dirk Bauermann said. Per was on the right track and will certainly be back next year with the national team."
