After a poor run of form, Brose Bamberg have decided to part ways with coach Andrea Trinchieri.
The carefully-planned move comes after a few days following the team’s fourth straight loss in the German League. It was a result that put them out of the playoff picture and dropped them to an unfamiliar tenth spot in the standings.

Trinchieri joined in Brose Bamberg in the summer 2014. He led the team to three German League titles (2015, 2016, 2017), the 2017 German Cup and the 2015 German Supercup.
Assistant coach Ilias Kantzouris will take over as head coach for the remainder of the campaign.
