Aaron Jackson heads to the Far East

After leaving CSKA Moscow, the next destination of popular guard Aaron Jackson has been a talking point.

But, following talks with Barcelona, Olympiacos and Anadolu Efes, all of whom collapsed. Jackson has signed a two-year with Chinese league side Beijing Ducks.

Jackson will get a reported $2.3million per season and will play back-up guard to the infamous Stephon Marbury.

The move comes as a slight surprise though considering that Jackson reportedly preferred to remain in Europe rather than travel further a field. The attraction of playing basketball in China though is known to be too good to pass up due to the overall popularity and lucrative nature of the league.

A EuroLeague winner with CSKA Moscow in 2016, Jackson was also waiting for the interest the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz had for him to materialise into something solid but the aforementioned teams remained quiet.

Jackson heads to China from CSKA where he spent five seasons.
