Miami Heat guard Davion Mitchell has spoken about playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, describing the Greek forward as the greatest player in basketball history.
Mitchell discussed Antetokounmpo’s ability to create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates, particularly when opposing defenses focus on stopping him near the basket.
The guard believes Antetokounmpo’s passing ability makes him difficult to defend, as he can find open teammates when opponents concentrate their defensive efforts on him.
“For the most part, he’s the greatest player to play the game, so he’s really going to figure it out … he’s a really good passer, so he’s going to find you on the open cuts because people are trying to build the wall … sometimes you don’t even know if you’re open and he just ends up finding you being open … he just needs to 2 dribbles, and he’s dunking the ball.”
