Kristaps Porzingis gives update after injury scare in Game 2 of NBA Finals

Kristaps Porzingis, the towering forward for the Boston Celtics, offered reassurance after an injury scare during Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

Returning to action after battling a calf injury since the first-round series against the Miami Heat, Porzingis seemed to suffer a setback during the matchup at TD Garden.

Despite appearing to tweak his leg, Porzingis remained on the court. He played a total of 24 minutes and contributed 12 points and four rebounds to the victory.

Following the game, Porzingis provided an optimistic outlook on his condition, indicating that he doesn’t believe the injury is serious.

“Feeling good. I don’t think it’s anything serious. But we’ll look at it tomorrow and go from there. But I’ll be good,” Porzingis stated, alleviating concerns about his health.

“I kept playing. Some bumps and bruises happen throughout the game. But I’ll be good,” Porzingis noted, highlighting the inherent challenges of playoff basketball.

Despite uncertainty about the exact nature of the injury, Porzingis expressed confidence that he would recover swiftly and be ready for the next game.

“I don’t even know what it is to be honest. But yeah, I’ll be good,” Porzingis reiterated, underscoring his determination to overcome any obstacles in his path.
