Luka Doncic assumes responsibility for Game 2 loss

Despite a remarkable triple-double performance in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Luka Doncic shouldered the blame for the Dallas Mavericks’ defeat.

Following the game, the Slovenian superstar, acknowledged his role in the loss, citing turnovers and missed free throws as critical factors.

With 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, Doncic showcased his skill set, but it wasn’t enough to secure victory for the Mavericks.

Expressing disappointment over the outcome, Doncic emphasized the need for improved execution and efficiency moving forward.

“They have a lot of great players. Basically anybody can get off. I think we didn’t do a bad job defending today. We took away some threes, we contested some more threes,” Doncic remarked.

“But like I said, I think my turnovers and my missed free throws cost us the game,” he added. Doncic had eight turnovers and was 4/8 from the free-throw line.

As the series shifts to Dallas for Games 3 and 4, Doncic and the Mavericks are determined to turn the tide and even the series.
