Ime Udoka on Rockets’ loss to Warriors: “The moment was too big for a lot of players”

Following the Houston Rockets’ disappointing 133-110 loss to the Golden State Warriors, head coach Ime Udoka expressed his frustration, stating, “The moment was too big for a lot of players.”

The Rockets’ defeat dealt a blow to their playoff aspirations as they continue to chase a spot in the Western Conference standings.

“It looked like the moment was too big for a lot of players out there. Looked like deer in headlights a little bit. Either looked soft or scared, one or the other,” Udoka said postgame, via ClutchPoints.

Udoka’s comments reflect the Rockets’ struggles to rise to the occasion in a crucial matchup against the Warriors. With postseason hopes on the line, Houston faltered under pressure, leading to a significant setback in their playoff pursuit.

The loss leaves the Rockets four games behind the Warriors in the race for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference. With only six regular-season games remaining, time is running out for Houston to make up ground in the standings.
