Devin Booker guides Suns to win over Hawks with 30-point performance

Devin Booker’s 30-point outburst and Eric Gordon’s clutch scoring off the bench propelled the Phoenix Suns (41-29) to a convincing 128-115 victory over the Atlanta Hawks (30-39) on Thursday night.

The Suns drained 22 of 41 three-pointers, with Booker leading the charge with six triples, while Gordon and Royce O’Neale added four each.

Despite facing adversity, including foul trouble for Booker and an injury to starting center Jusuf Nurkic, the Suns displayed resilience and depth to secure the win. Gordon finished the game with 21 points off bench, while Kevin Durant added 19.

Atlanta put up a spirited fight behind Dejounte Murray’s 29 points and De’Andre Hunter’s 22, but ultimately couldn’t contain the Suns’ offensive firepower.

The Hawks sorely missed the services of Trae Young, who sat out his 13th consecutive game due to injury, leaving a void in Atlanta’s backcourt.
