Shake Milton, recently bought out by the Detroit Pistons, is set to bolster the New York Knicks’ lineup after agreeing to join the team upon clearing waivers.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Milton’s addition comes as a timely boost for the injury-plagued Knicks, offering immediate assistance to their roster.

The move follows Milton’s buyout agreement with the Pistons, paving the way for his eligibility to feature in the Knicks’ playoff campaign.

Traded to the Pistons in early February, Milton’s tenure in Detroit was short-lived, culminating in a mutual agreement for a contract buyout.

Throughout the current season, Milton is averaging 5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 13.3 minutes per game.
