Doncic and Irving combine for 70 points in Mavericks’ win over Suns

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 70 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks (33-23) to a 123-113 win over the Phoenix Suns (33-23).

Doncic dazzled with a 41-point performance, along with 11 assists and nine rebounds, while Irving contributed 29 points, guiding the Mavericks to their seventh consecutive victory.

Tim Hardaway Jr. and newcomer P.J. Washington contributed 12 points each for Dallas.

Despite a valiant effort from Devin Booker, who poured in 35 points for the Suns, and a solid performance from Kevin Durant, who added 23 points, Phoenix couldn’t contain the offensive firepower of the Mavericks’ star tandem.

With the victory, the Mavericks seize the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Suns, positioning themselves favorably in the race for postseason seeding as the regular season enters its final stretch.
