Luka Doncic did not play in the Los Angeles Lakers’ preseason game against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, one night after returning to action against the Sacramento Kings.

The Lakers rested several players for the second game of a back-to-back. Austin Reaves, Walker Kessler, Matisse Thybulle, Ziaire Williams, Collin Sexton and Arthur Kaluma were also unavailable.

Doncic had played his first game in more than six months on Monday, scoring a team-high 21 points in a win over Sacramento.

Despite sitting out against Golden State, he participated in pregame warmups.

With much of the rotation unavailable, Los Angeles started Bronny James, Quentin Grimes, Adou Thiero, Jake LaRavia and Sandro Mamukelashvili.

The Lakers return home Thursday for another preseason matchup with the Kings.

Golden State, meanwhile, travels to Portland for the second half of its own back-to-back.
