Paul George guides Clippers to victory over Pistons

Paul George scored game-high 33 points, leading the Los Angeles Clippers (35-16) to a hard-fought 112-106 win over the Detroit Pistons (8-44).

In a closely contested matchup, the Clippers found themselves trailing the Pistons for much of the game before mounting a fourth-quarter rally.

Kawhi Leonard added 24 points, supported by James Harden’s 14 and Russell Westbrook’s 13.

Despite a late surge from the Pistons, highlighted by Simone Fontecchio and Cade Cunningham’s combined efforts, the Clippers managed to hold on for their 35th win of the season.

Jaden Ivey led the charge for the Pistons with 23 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure a victory, as Detroit’s losing streak extended to 10 games.

Cade Cunningham contributed 22 points and 10 assists, while Jalen Duren added a double-double with 10 points and 18 rebounds for the Pistons.
