Cam Thomas leads Nets to victory over Spurs

Cam Thomas scored game-high 25 points, guiding the Brooklyn Nets (21-31) to a convincing 123-103 win against the San Antonio Spurs (10-43).

In his Nets debut, Dennis Schroder made an immediate impact, recording 15 points and 12 assists. Nic Claxton contributed a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Ben Simmons, maintaining his role as the starting point guard for Brooklyn, added 13 points to the team’s winning effort.

Despite Victor Wembanyama’s 21-point performance, Brooklyn’s balanced offensive attack and strong defensive effort proved too much for San Antonio to overcome.

Keldon Johnson contributed 19 points for the Spurs, but it wasn’t enough to prevent San Antonio from dropping their seventh consecutive game.
