Mavericks dominate Thunder behind Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving

The Dallas Mavericks (30-23) asserted their dominance with a commanding 146-111 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder (35-17), fueled by standout performances from Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Led by a 32-point performance from Doncic, who also tallied nine assists and eight rebounds, the Mavericks extended their winning streak to four games. Joining forces with the Slovenian superstar, Irving contributed 25 points.

Newcomer Daniel Gafford made an immediate impact in his Dallas debut, notching 19 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Another new addition, P.J. Washington, added 14 points off the bench.

Despite the Thunder’s efforts, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 25-point performance, they struggled to contain the Mavericks’ offensive onslaught throughout the game.

Dallas set the tone early, establishing a commanding 47-30 lead in the first quarter, marking the franchise’s highest-scoring opening quarter in history.

Although the Thunder mounted a comeback attempt, narrowing the gap to four points in the second quarter, the Mavericks quickly regained control and never looked back.
