Pistons stun Thunder, ending five-game winning streak

In a surprising turn of events, the Detroit Pistons (6-40) pulled off a remarkable 120-104 victory, ending the Oklahoma City Thunder’s (32-14) five-game winning streak.

Jalen Duren led the Pistons in scoring with 22 points and a career-high 21 rebounds. Jaden Ivey also made significant contributions with 19 points, showcasing the Pistons’ resilience despite missing leading scorer Cade Cunningham.

Although the Thunder, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 31 points, mounted a comeback to narrow the gap to 90-86, Ivey responded with back-to-back jumpers, sparking a crucial 10-0 run.

The Thunder faced difficulties in the second half, with Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort not playing in the fourth quarter, and Chet Holmgren seeing limited action with just 2 minutes on the court.

Jalen Williams added 20 points for OKC. Josh Giddey contributed 12 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
