Splash Brothers lead Warriors’ comeback victory over Bulls

Following to blowout losses against the Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans, the Golden State Warriors (18-20) orchestrated a remarkable comeback against the Chicago Bulls (18-22), securing a 140-131 victory fueled by the sharpshooting of the Splash Brothers.

Klay Thompson, with 30-point performance, and Stephen Curry, who scored 27 points with 15 crucial points in the fourth quarter, spearheaded the Warriors’ comeback. Curry showcased his playmaking prowess with nine assists.

Andrew Wiggins, who is rumored to likely get traded, added 17 points and eight assists, while Jonathan Kuminga made a significant impact off the bench with 24 points.

The Bulls, led by DeMar DeRozan’s 39-point effort, suffered a setback. Zach LaVine, with 25 points, and Coby White, contributing 25 points in the first half, showcased their offensive prowess.

Despite the Bulls recognizing franchise luminaries and the 1995-96 championship team during a halftime Ring of Honor ceremony, the celebration was marred by boos directed at former general manager Jerry Krause, leaving his widow, Thelma, visibly upset.

Playing without four regulars, including Moses Moody, Chris Paul, Gary Payton II, and Draymond Green, the Warriors displayed resilience and depth to secure the victory.
