Bulls secure victory against Hornets in LaVine and Vucevic’s return

The Chicago Bulls (16-21) triumphed over the Charlotte Hornets (8-25) with a convincing 104-91 win, marked by Coby White’s stellar performance of 22 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists on Friday night.

Welcoming back key players Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic, the Bulls showcased their depth, with DeMar DeRozan contributing 17 points and Andre Drummond grabbing 10 rebounds.

LaVine, returning after a 17-game absence due to inflammation in his right foot, scored 15 points in nearly 30 minutes on the court. Vucevic, back from a five-game hiatus with a strained left adductor, added 11 points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes as a reserve.

Miles Bridges led the Hornets with 28 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Bulls’ balanced attack. Terry Rozier contributed 15 points.

Despite missing Alex Caruso (neck soreness) and Patrick Williams (ankle injury), the Bulls displayed resilience.

Hornets rookie Brandon Miller returned to the starting lineup after missing the previous game with a bruised left hip, but key players like LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, Mark Williams, and Frank Ntilikina remained sidelined due to various injuries.
