The New York Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley made a comeback after dealing with a knee injury, displaying good shooting form.

However, his playing time was capped at 18 minutes as Tom Thibodeau continued to navigate the surplus of guards on the team.

The 24-year-old backup, who is approaching free agency in the summer, didn’t express any concerns about his limited minutes.

“Just make the most of whatever minutes you get,” Quickley commented. His playing time has been reduced by about four minutes per game compared to last season.

“Whether it’s 15, 20, or 25. I played 55 [in an overtime game] last season. Whatever minutes I get, go out there and help the team win.”

Quickley had missed the previous game due to unexpected knee soreness, catching him off guard.

“I really don’t know [what happened],” Quickley shared. “I worked out the night before, woke up, and my knee was hurting. And it was hard for me to walk.”
