Richard Jefferson to Draymond Green: “What you are doing is bad for the game of basketball”

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green faced criticism from former NBA player and ex-teammate Richard Jefferson after an early ejection in the game against the Phoenix Suns.

Green was ejected in the third quarter following a flagrant-2 call for hitting Jusuf Nurkic in the head, raising concerns about his on-court conduct. It is yet to be determined whether Draymond’s actions will result in further sanctions by the league.

During the postgame press conference, Green, who recently served a five-game suspension for putting Rudy Gobert in a chokehold, claimed he didn’t intend to hit Nurkic.

Richard Jefferson took to social media to express his disappointment, stating, “Dray, what are you doing, man? You’re too important, you’re too good. This is getting to a space where you’re hurting the game. What you are doing is bad for the game of basketball.

“And you are good are good for the game of basketball. But what you’re doing my brother is bad for the game. Come on.”
