The Dallas Mavericks have welcomed back Seth Curry for his third stint with the team, reuniting him with star player Luka Doncic.

The 33-year-old guard previously played for the Mavericks in the 2016-17 and 2019-20 seasons.

In a recent press conference, Dallas head coach Jason Kidd expressed his enthusiasm about Curry’s return.

“We would love to have that shooting percentage that he had with Luka,” Kidd stated, per Eddie Sefko of mavs.com.

He went on to highlight an underrated aspect of Curry’s game, his ability to run the offense.

“Seth can also run the offense and get us into different situations,” Kidd explained. “Having him on the floor as a very capable shooter creates space and adds a valuable weapon to our team.”

Curry’s familiarity with both Doncic and Kyrie Irving, his former teammate at Duke and later with the Brooklyn Nets, is expected to enhance team chemistry and provide the Mavericks with additional offensive options.
