Sarunas Jasikevicius is embarking on a journey to Sacramento, where he will be joining the Sacramento Kings for a period of one month, specifically during the 2023 NBA Preseason.

This development was brought to light by the Lithuanian publication 15min on Thursday. It’s worth noting that Jasikevicius is currently without a team as a free agent.

He decided to part ways with FC Barcelona after the conclusion of the 2022-23 season.

Interestingly, despite this departure, he achieved success by leading FC Barcelona to victory in Spain’s Liga Endesa, defeating archrival Real Madrid in the ACB Finals with a clean sweep in three games.

During his three-year tenure as the head coach of FC Barcelona, he also secured the ACB championship in 2021 and 2023, along with the Copa del Rey in 2021 and 2022.

However, it’s worth mentioning that he was unable to seize any opportunities to win the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
