Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young drew a comparison between the Minnesota Timberwolves sensation Anthony Edwards and the iconic Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls.
Young, impressed by Edwards’ performance in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, sees him as a rising star set for a breakthrough season in the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season, going so far as to dub him the “new M.J.”
“The league is about to be Anthony Edwards. This is Anthony Edwards league now, the new MJ. That boy looks just like MJ out there,” Young said.
