Lonzo Ball has taken to social media to directly address recent reports by Stephen A. Smith regarding the extent of his knee injury and the challenges he faces in his recovery.
Smith had suggested that Ball’s knee issues were so severe that he struggled to get up from a sitting position.
In a video message, Ball called out Smith, asking for the identity of his sources and playfully challenging the accuracy of the reports. With a smile, Ball demonstrated his ability to repeatedly stand up from a sitting position on his injured left leg.
“Stephen A., who are your sources bro? Please tell me who your sources are,” the 25-year-old point guard said. “Come on man. Come on man, you got to stop yapping! And I actually like you, man! I don’t even know you like that! But I like you! I’m coming back, man! Come on!”
