ALBA Berlin has made an addition to their roster, signing American guard Matt Thomas to a one-year contract.
The 29-year-old brings valuable NBA experience to the team, having played in 121 games for the Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz, and Chicago Bulls from 2019 to 2022. Last season, he played in EuroLeague with Panathinaikos.
For ALBA fans, Matt Thomas is a familiar name, as he played in the EuroCup final against ALBA back in 2019 when he was with Valencia. His impressive performance in that decisive third game, scoring 19 points, played a significant role in Valencia’s title victory.
