Here’s New Orleans Pelicans forward EJ Liddell answering a question from earlier this month on which NBA players provided him with words of encouragement throughout his ACL recovery.

“CJ McCollum has because he told me a story about how he broke his foot before his rookie year and he broke it in college and whatnot, and how he went through mental things and stuff. Also Kira Lewis, he just got done doing rehab, just got back on the court this past year. So it was good to have guys like that to talk to me and just say it’s a learning curve, some days you feel good, some days you don’t.”
