Lonnie Walker IV, the newest addition to the Nets, recently spoke highly of his new teammate Mikal Bridges. In a recent interview, Walker expressed admiration for Bridges’ character and his exceptional performance on the court.

Walker commended Bridges for his positive presence, describing him as a caring and humble individual. He acknowledged Bridges’ growth throughout his basketball journey, from his time at Villanova to his impactful role with the Phoenix Suns and now with the Nets.

“He has a great presence,” Walker said about Bridges, via Erik Slater. “He’s a great human being. A very loving, caring person. A very humble individual. On the court, he’s just a killer, man. To see his growth from Villanova to Phoenix to getting his biggest role with the Nets and accepting that role and taking it to a whole another level. It just really just shows what type of person he is on and off the court, and it’s well-deserved.”

Bridges’ statistics demonstrate his remarkable contributions to the Nets’ success. With an increased role on the team, his scoring average rose to an impressive 26.1 points per game, accompanied by solid rebounding and playmaking numbers.

Walker’s praise for Bridges extends beyond his basketball skills, emphasizing his qualities as both a player and a person. The recognition of Bridges’ dedication and hard work reflects the high regard he holds within the team.
