No room for Rokas Jokubaitis on Knicks roster – agent

Rokas Jokubaitis who was No. 34 overall pick by the Knicks in 2021 will not play in the Summer League this year.

His agent informed Stefan Bondy of New York Daily News that there is no room for the Lithuanian point guard on the Knicks roster next season, therefore it makes no sense for him play in the Summer League.

In addition, Bondy reports that Jokubaitis was not even asked by New York to join their summer league squad.

Also, the 22-year-old player, who the EuroLeague Rising Star award in 2022, will play for Lithuania at this year’s FIBA World Cup which starts in late August.
