Team USA roster for 2023 FIBA World Cup revealed

Team USA has already assembled a 12-men roster for this years’ FIBA World Cup with Josh Hart becoming final player to commit to the national team.

As noted by Tim Bontemps of ESPN, the full roster includes guards: Jalen Brunson (Knicks), Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves), Tyrese Haliburton (Pacers), Austin Reaves (Lakers); forwards: Paolo Banchero (Magic), Mikal Bridges (Nets), Josh Hart (Knicks), Brandon Ingram (Pelicans), Jaren Jackson Jr. (Grizzlies), Cam Johnson (Nets); centers: Walker Kessler (Jazz), Bobby Portis (Bucks).

The Americans will start the World Cup in Group C (Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Philippines) alongside Greece, Jordan and New Zealand.

After a disappointing seventh-place finish in 2019, the reigning Olympic Champions will look to improve and book a direct ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
