Anthony Edwards credits Team USA for his success this season

Anthony Edwards delivered a masterful performance in Game 1 of the second-round series against the Denver Nuggets.

The 22-year-old shooting guard dropped record-setting 43 points and grabbed seven rebounds, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 106-99 win.

Edwards credited Team USA for his success this season. “Big shout out to Team USA, man. They got me ready,” he said, per Dalton Johnson.

Last year, Edwards was the leader of Team USA at the 2023 FIBA World Cup in which the Americans finished fourth. He has been selected among the final 12 players for the national for the 2024 Paris Olympics as well.
