Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is gearing up for a return to Team USA, marking his first appearance since the 2012 London Olympics.

Selected among 12 elite players for the star-studded national team, James expressed his gratitude and excitement for the opportunity to represent the red, white, and blue once again.

In an interview ahead of the first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, James emphasized the significance of donning the Team USA jersey after a 12-year hiatus.

“That means everything. It’s been the first time in 12 years for me representing Team USA. I had a lot of great times representing the red, white, and blue in the summer games in Olympics,” James said, reflecting on his previous experiences in the Olympics.

Acknowledging the honor of representing his country alongside teammate Anthony Davis, James looks forward to the camaraderie and competition that lie ahead.

“I’m looking forward to doing that and doing alongside my buddy [Anthony Davis],” he continued. “It’s going to be extremely fun. We’ve done it before, but he was fresh out of college, we hadn’t won a championship together, we hadn’t spent a lot of seasons together. To be alongside him and the rest of ten guys as well, including the coaching staff and then the whole staff that’s part of USAB.

“Just want to thank Grant Hill and Sean Ford and the rest of those guys over there on picking me, picking AD. I think when that moment happens, we’ll be extremely excited and extremely happy to put those uniforms on and go against the world. That will be a huge moment.”

With anticipation building for the Paris Olympics, James eagerly anticipates the opportunity to compete against the world’s best on the international stage.
