The Raptors are poised to keep Gary Trent Jr. According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the two sides are working to finalize a “lucrative multiyear extension.”
Trent recently exercised his player option for the 2023-24 season which will earn him $18.5 million next year.
The 24-year-old shooting guard completed his third year in Toronto, averaging 17.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 32.1 minutes per game.
