The Pacers locked their young star Tyrese Haliburton to a five-year, $260 million max contract. Prior to this, he was on a four- year, $17.8 million deal.
The 23-year-old point guard took to Twitter to express his emotions after getting the new contract. He tweeted a clip of wrestler Ted DiBiase laughing for 34 seconds straight.
Last season Haliburto averaged 20.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists in 33.6 minutes per game.
